Rosie Fisher
In 1979, a young woman named Rosie Fisher had the vision to create a brand for children’s furniture and accessories. Her mission was to pair quintessentially
British designs with high-quality standards and the fine art of craftsmanship. Her design ethos was fueled by the idea that the ultimate gateway to luxury is dreaming - creating designs that stimulate the imagination of children and parents alike. The artisans meticulously crafting Rosie’s creations were affectionately referred to as “Dragons,” inspiring the brand’s eponymous name. Since its inception, Dragons of Walton Street has been driven by its vision to inspire life’s most meaningful journey - childhood. Today, that same spirit of imagination continues to shape every piece, celebrating a timeless legacy of wonder and creation.
Royal Nursery
It was Rosie’s hand-painted furniture that soon caught the attention of an international elite, with Princess Diana commissioning Dragons’ work for the Royal Nursery in 1982. The brand has since continued to be synonymous with both elegance and creativity, embodying these qualities in its creations by blending heritage, luxury, craftsmanship, and innovation - continuously stimulating fantasy and dreams. Over the years, Dragons of Walton Street has become a hallmark of the highest level of artistry, where imagination meets meticulous detail to create timeless pieces that transcend generations. Each creation is more than furniture - it is a symbol of childhood’s magic, reimagined through the lens of beauty, sophistication, and wonder.
