In 1982, Rosie’s hand-painted furniture captured the attention of an international elite, with Princess Diana commissioning Dragons’ work for the Royal Nursery. In 2000, Dragons of Walton Street made its transatlantic debut, establishing a landmark presence in the United States through an opening at Best & Co in New York. Realised in celebrated collaboration with Tommy and Susie Hilfiger, this milestone marked a defining chapter in the brand’s international journey, introducing Dragons’ distinctive vision for luxury children’s interiors to a new and deeply discerning American audience for the very first time.
Harrods Concession
In 2015, Dragons of Walton Street opened a prestigious concession within Harrods, one of the world’s most celebrated luxury department stores. This landmark partnership firmly established Dragons as the definitive authority in luxury children’s interiors, bringing its signature hand-crafted designs and bespoke artistry to the heart of Knightsbridge. New Leadership & Rebrand
In 2023, Dragons of Walton Street welcomed Simona Struzzi as its new Chief Executive Officer, heralding a transformative chapter for the house. Under her leadership, Dragons embarked on a comprehensive rebrand one designed to honour its storied heritage while embracing a bold and contemporary vision. With ambitions to broaden its global footprint, the rebrand positioned Dragons to reach a new generation of luxury clientele whilst remaining true to the craft and creativity at its heart.
The Dragon’s Atelier
In 2024 the Dragon’s Atelier has been set up under creative leadership of award winning illustrator and artist Hannah Horn as the creative lab of the brand, under her leadership Hannah and her team have been developing the brand’s artitistic direction and preserving its deeply rooted heritage in the craft of handpainting and narrative driven design of its new hand painted collections, whilst also executing bespoke orders and highly customized pieces for Dragon’s clients globally.
Creative Direction
In 2025, Dragons of Walton Street appointed the celebrated Italian architect Carlo Colombo Creative Director and Partner at A++ Group as its Creative Director. Widely recognised for his refined aesthetic sensibility and award-winning design practice, Carlo brings an extraordinary depth of vision to the brand. In 2026, Dragons of Walton Street marks a momentous milestone with its global re-launch a celebration of four decades of extraordinary craft, artistry and heritage. Reaffirmed as the world’s premier destination for luxury children’s interiors, the brand enters this next chapter with renewed ambition, an expanded collection, and an enduring commitment to the imagination and hand-crafted excellence that has defined Dragons since its founding on London’s iconic Walton Street.
